Robert McCray
is a retired Consumer Safety Officer and Training Specialist with the U.S.Department of Commerce/NOAA Seafood Inspection Program.
As a USDC Training Instructor, Mr.McCray conducted 15-20 workshops per year in the U.S. and Internationally in HACCP, Sanitation,
Quality Management and Inspection Procedures for audiences that have included food processing industry members, academia and
government personnel. In addition to conducting training workshops, Mr. McCray's resposibilities as a USDC Seafood Inspection
Program Consumer Safety Officer included the inspection and certification of seafood products and the performance of Systems
Audits for seafood processing establishments in the United States. Mr. McCray is a certified Association of Food and
Drug Officials (AFDO) HACCP Trainer. Mr. McCray holds a Master of Science degree in Systems Management from the University
of Southern California, is a QSA International Registrar Accreditation Board (RAB) Certified Lead Auditor, an American Society
for Quality Certified Quality Auditor. Mr. McCray serves as an adjunct Instructor with the Mississippi State University and
is a Professional member of the Institute of Food Technologists, a senior member of the American Society for Quality and a
member of the Association of Food and Drug Official (AFDO).
